Understand the Need

We focus on finding and helping families in need through a well-defined process focused on privacy and sensitivity while also customizing the support to the needs of that particular family.

Adopt-A-Family

We provide your family or group a shopping list tailored to the family you will be supporting.  It will include items that they need, (including: sizes, preferred colors, styles, etc.).

This is a great way to get your family or group involved during the season of giving.

Interested in adopting a family? Click “Contact page” – (HYPERLINK), let us know how much you’d like to spend or what size of family you’d like to adopt and we'll assign a family.  Keep in mind, that the family’s identity is strictly confidential.  First & last names of family members will not be identified.  You’ll be assigned a family by number, and members will be identified by age, gender, and roll within the family. The deadline for adopting a family is November 28th.

Identify Families

We work with school counselors, direct requests from families, and referrals from caring friends and family.  If you would like to request assistance this holiday season or refer someone to the program, please (Insert hyperlink to form).  Referrals & requests for assistance is due (INSERT DATE).

Food Drives & Fundraising

Local High School, Junior High School, and Elementary Schools conduct food drives to support the program.  Each school focuses on collecting a specific items that are needed.  Once those items are collected, we can conduct an inventory to determine what items are still needed. At the same time, we are hosting fundraising activities to raise money to purchase additional food items, toiletries, clothing, and other supplies that the family may need in coming months.

Red Ribbon Week is typically scheduled for the first week in October.  You can help with canned goods during this week or donate now by (clicking the button on the right-hand side of the web site). – CREATE HYPERLINK.

Consult by Phone

Every family participates in an interview process in order to verify qualifications for participation, identify each member of the family, document individual needs of each family member, and schedule an estimated delivery time.

Food and Household Needs

Our goal is to provide each family with 2-3 month’s worth of food, primarily staple items that can be used in a variety of ways and serve the family for multiple meals.  In addition, we also provide common household items such as laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, personal hygiene items, and paper products.
