The Kearney Family Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation founded in November, 2003. All contributions to the Kearney Family Foundation are tax-deductible. The administration of the Kearney Family Foundation is handled by a volunteer Board of Directors, allowing us to operate with no administrative fees so that all our contributions can focus on the most important part of our organization: helping others. Volunteers like you and area businesses donate all of our operating costs.

The Kearney Family Foundation is dedicated as a community of individual volunteers to assisting the children and families in the Kearney/Holt area. Every penny donated–100% of all donations–goes directly to those children and families the Kearney Family Foundation helps.

The Kearney Holt Pantry provides food to those in need in the Kearney, Holt, and surrounding areas.  A variety of food including milk, eggs, fruit, meat, vegetables, toiletries, and even clothing may be provided due to the generous donations of local individuals, companies, churches, and organizations. 

The Kearney Holt Pantry is open from 9am-11am on Tuesdays but also by appointment outside of that time.  It is located at 225 Main St. in Holt, MO, 64048. For an appointment, please contact Karen at (816) 320-3975.

The Salvation Army is there anytime, any season. At Christmas, The Salvation Army makes the holidays brighter for tens of thousands of people in Kansas City, providing Christmas toys, gifts and holiday food baskets for families in need through the Angel Tree and Adopt-A-Family programs.

We also offer free community Thanksgiving and Christmas Day meals and special holiday visits to homebound senior citizens. And it wouldn't be Christmas without those famous red kettles! Your generous contributions at the holidays help fund our programs all year long!
